Pensar Cursos expands catalog and adopts MEC Seal certification

Pensar Cursos, a distance learning platform founded in 2013, has expanded its educational offerings and implemented a new certification system. The company now offers certificates featuring the MEC Seal (Ministry of Education) across its entire catalog of approximately 2,200 free courses.

These certificates are issued as university extension courses through partnerships with higher education institutions accredited by the Ministry of Education. The documents include dual QR codes and authenticity codes for immediate verification via the e-MEC system. Former students can upgrade their existing certificates to the MEC Seal model without retaking the courses.

In addition to the new certification, the platform has expanded its portfolio to include 67 technical courses, 188 specializations, and MBAs. It has also introduced learning tracks that bundle three courses into a single package. Furthermore, the platform introduced enrollment proofs validated by QR code, which can be used by students to request educational licenses from companies like Autodesk.
