Penta Real Estate acquires stake in Prague Bubny–Zátory project

Penta Real Estate has acquired a 50% stake in HoldCo Bubny, the company holding land for the Bubny–Zátory project in Prague. The investment group AKIPIA, founded by Michał Strnad, Tomáš Brzobohatý, and Marek Šmrha, has purchased an additional 35% stake, while J&T Group retains a 15% interest as a financial partner.

The redevelopment of the 25-hectare area is estimated to be worth approximately 3.7 billion euros. The project aims to transform the former industrial site into a multifunctional district featuring 27 residential buildings with 10,000 new apartments.

Planned amenities for the new district include high-end offices, rental housing, student dormitories, hotels, retail spaces, schools, kindergartens, and public utility facilities. The development will also include a central park and high-quality public spaces. The project is scheduled to be implemented in stages through 2050.
