Pentagon releases second batch of UAP videos and documents

The U.S. Department of Defense has released a new batch of more than 50 unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) videos, audio recordings and related documents, continuing a rolling disclosure program ordered by former President Donald Trump. The material includes recent footage showing unexplained objects near military aircraft over the southeastern United States, a spherical object hovering over a populated area, and a high‑speed object, as well as historic records dating back to the late 1940s.

A second release, prompted by congressional requests, adds over 40 additional videos, including infrared sensor footage captured at Eglin Air Force Base, a video of a UAP that was reportedly shot down near Lake Huron on the Canadian border, and archival audio from NASA Apollo and Mercury missions where astronauts described unusual light flashes and particles. The package also contains a CIA report of a 1973 sighting in the Soviet Union and documentation from the post‑World‑War II Armed Forces Special Weapons Program. The Pentagon’s All‑domain Anomaly Resolution Office says investigations have found no evidence of extraterrestrial origin, though many cases remain unexplained.
