Pentagon releases seventh batch of declassified UFO files
The U.S. Department of Defense has released its seventh tranche of declassified documents regarding unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) under the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Encounters (PURSUE).
The release includes a 2002 affidavit from Walter Haut, a former Air Force public information officer, regarding the 1947 Roswell incident. Haut claimed to have seen an egg-shaped craft and extraterrestrial bodies at the Roswell Army Air Field. While the Air Force previously attributed the Roswell debris to Project Mogul balloons and alleged bodies to crash-test dummies, the documents reopen long-standing speculation.
Additionally, the files contain a report from government contractor BAASS concerning Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. The report documents various eyewitness accounts of bipedal dog-like creatures, small humanoid beings, and other unusual phenomena. However, the report noted that fur samples collected at the ranch were identified as domestic dogs.
