Pentagon releases sixth batch of declassified UAP files
The Pentagon has released the sixth batch of declassified documents regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) through the PURSUE (Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters) program. The release includes 71 files, comprising 55 documents, 15 videos, and a historic 1952 audio recording related to Project Blue Book.
Among the most notable findings are records from the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP), a Defense Intelligence Agency initiative launched in 2008 with a budget of nearly $22 million. The documents reveal that the military funded theoretical studies into advanced concepts such as warp drives, wormholes, and anti-gravity technology to assess potential aerospace threats through 2050.
One specific infrared video from 2025, captured by a U.S. military platform, shows six small, spherical objects traveling at an estimated 480 miles per hour (770 km/h) and performing agile maneuvers. While the documents confirm the existence of unexplained objects and military research into advanced physics, the Department of Defense emphasizes that the files do not provide proof of extraterrestrial origins.
