Pentagon releases third batch of UFO files, features red glowing spheres and Harry‑Potter‑like craft
The US Department of Defense disclosed a third set of previously classified records on unidentified aerial phenomena, adding 72 files that span observations from the 1940s through 2026. The archive contains reports from the CIA, FBI, NASA and the Pentagon and documents sightings worldwide, including cases in Zimbabwe and the United States.
Among the newly released material are witness accounts of red‑glowing, meter‑wide spheres with a bright white core—one observer described the light as “bright and beautiful”—and a 2023 report describing an object that resembled a flying car from the Harry Potter series. The Pentagon emphasized that the documents provide no proof of extraterrestrial technology and label many cases as unresolved. The declassifications were ordered under the Trump administration after former President Obama’s public remarks on the possibility of alien life.
