Pentagon releases UAP files as Harvard plans orb observatory

The Pentagon has released previously unseen files regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) to a new government website, providing the public with immediate access to videos, photos, and original documents without requiring security clearance. Many reported sightings, often documented by military pilots, have occurred near active military operations. Historical records date back to the 1940s, with significant activity noted during Cold War hotspots like Germany and the Soviet Union, while more recent reports focus on the Middle East.

In response to these phenomena, the Galileo Project at Harvard University, led by astrophysicist Professor Avi Loeb, plans to establish the ‘Orb Imager Observatory’. This new facility aims to specifically study ‘orbs’—luminous, meter-sized objects that exhibit unusual maneuvers and high speeds. Recent data released through the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE) includes reports of orange orbs observed by intelligence officials and helicopter crews, as well as infrared imagery of spherical objects with low thermal signatures.
