Pentagram designs interactive Silver Linings longevity report
Pentagram has designed the Silver Linings report, an interactive digital experience that translates Raiany Romanni-Klein’s longevity research into a data-driven visual narrative. Created by Pentagram partner Giorgia Lupi, the project explores the social, economic, and demographic implications of extending human healthspan.
The report utilizes a specialized horizontal interface and a refined visual language to present complex scientific, economic, and biotechnological data. It features custom illustrations, including adaptations of medical engravings and new drawings of cellular mechanisms, to provide a tactile quality to the scientific material.
A central component of the project is the Simulation Tool. Developed alongside economists, this interactive model allows users to manipulate variables—such as therapeutic development speed, fertility rates, and productivity shifts—to explore how these factors might influence projected GDP and the number of lives saved.
