Vancouver Canucks Return to Penticton for 2026 Training Camp

The Vancouver Canucks announced that their 2026 preseason training camp will be held in Penticton, British Columbia, marking the third consecutive year the club returns to the interior community.

The camp runs September 17‑20 at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC). Co‑president of hockey operations Henrik Sedin said returning “makes perfect sense for our organization,” highlighting the venue’s on‑ice and off‑ice facilities. All on‑ice sessions, including a public scrimmage, will be open to fans.

The team will be led by new head coach Manny Malhotra, its third different head coach in three seasons. Penticton mayor Julius Bloomfield noted the recent $1.2 million score‑clock/jumbotron upgrade and said “hosting the Canucks training camp demonstrates the value of those investments, creating economic benefits for local businesses, fostering community pride, and providing residents and visitors with the opportunity to experience NHL hockey right here in Penticton.”
