People Power Party reorganizes Incheon and Gyeonggi regional offices

The People Power Party is accelerating its organizational restructuring in the Incheon and Gyeonggi regions. Following a recruitment process for vacant party committee chair positions, several candidates have been selected through appointments and primary elections.

In Incheon, Lee Byeong-taek, a former candidate for Gyeyang-gu Mayor, has been appointed as the organizational committee chair for Gyeyang-gap. In Seo-gu-eul, Shin Seong-young, a former Incheon City Councilor, was selected following a primary election among responsible party members conducted via ARS voting.

In the Gyeonggi region, Kim Hee-seong was selected for Namyangju-si-eul and Kim Ui-beom for Anseong-si. In Yongin-si-gap, a runoff election between Yang Hyang-ja and Yoon Jae-bok is scheduled for October 8 after no candidate secured a majority in the initial three-way race. These selections are subject to final approval by the party's Supreme Council.
