People's Party leader criticizes DSI over Senate fraud investigation leaks

Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut, leader of the People's Party, has criticized the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) regarding its intention to sue individuals who leaked investigation documents concerning alleged fraud in the Senate election.

Natthaphong suggested that such legal actions could be interpreted as an attempt to silence those revealing the truth. He urged the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) to act according to the law and emphasized that the commission's role is to forward evidence to the Supreme Court rather than determining guilt or innocence. He warned that if the ECT misuses its authority, it could face legal consequences. The public is awaiting the ECT's resolution on the matter, expected by August 28.
