People's Public Security wins National Table Tennis Championship

The People's Public Security (CAND) team secured first place overall at the 44th National Table Tennis Championship held in Hai Phong. The team earned a total of three gold, three silver, and three bronze medals.

Key victories for CAND included Dinh Anh Hoang, who successfully defended his men's singles title by defeating Doan Ba Tuan Anh 4-0 in the final. Tran Mai Ngoc also secured a gold medal in the women's singles after a 4-1 victory over Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh.

The Ho Chi Minh City team finished in second place overall with three gold, two silver, and one bronze medals. Veteran player Mai Hoang My Trang contributed significantly to her team's success, winning gold in both the women's team and women's doubles events. Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh also earned a gold medal in the mixed doubles category alongside Nguyen Van Nam.

Hanoi placed third in the overall standings with one gold and five bronze medals. The eight-day tournament featured over 100 athletes from 15 provincial and municipal teams.
