Pepê expresses interest in renewing contract with FC Porto

Brazilian international winger Pepê has expressed his desire to renew his contract with FC Porto. In an interview with O Jogo, the player noted that his current deal runs until the end of the 2027/28 season, but he views a prolongation positively, citing his deep personal and professional connection to both the club and the city of Porto.

Regarding leadership, Pepê stated that while becoming a captain would be a dream, he does not feel his relaxed personality is a perfect fit for the role.

Addressing the recent controversy following the Clássico against Benfica, which ended in a 3-1 victory for Porto, Pepê dismissed claims of irregularities. Despite Benfica filing complaints regarding incidents during the match, the player maintained that the game was “clean” and that Porto was simply the superior side.
