Pep Guardiola hosts 28 Palestinian children at Catalan summer camp

Pep Guardiola welcomed 28 children from the Gaza Strip to his traditional summer camp in Catalonia. The camp, organised by the Guardiola Sala Foundation, took place at the Condes del Pallars hotel in Rialp, Lleida province. The children, who had been affected by the war in Gaza, traveled from Barcelona to participate in sports and recreational activities alongside other campers.

During the visit Guardiola expressed solidarity with the youngsters, stating that the initiative is a manifesto for Palestine and humanity. He highlighted the harsh reality faced by children in Gaza, recalling images of families searching for missing relatives amid the conflict. The gesture has drawn attention to the coach’s longstanding support for the Palestinian cause and his willingness to act beyond the football field.
