Pep Guardiola praises Hansi Flick’s FC Barcelona

Pep Guardiola has expressed high praise for the current style of play under Hansi Flick at FC Barcelona. In an interview, Guardiola noted that he finds Flick’s team highly entertaining to watch, stating, “The Barça of Flick, if they play and I can see them, I sit down and watch them because you have a good time.” He emphasized that the team’s ability to entertain is a significant achievement that goes beyond mere tactical analysis.

Guardiola highlighted that Flick has implemented a vertical and aggressive approach that maintains the core philosophy of seeking out the opponent and taking risks. This style, characterized by a high defensive line and constant pressure, creates open and engaging matches.

Separately, reports indicate that Guardiola has decided to return to living in Barcelona. After spending time in New York following his departure from Manchester City, he has reportedly chosen to establish his residence in the city, despite maintaining property in other locations.
