Pepco launches new digital shopping platform in Poland, eyes European rollout

Pepco has introduced a new digital shopping ecosystem in Poland, comprising a website, mobile app and loyalty programme. The platform lists more than 11,000 products – roughly ten times the previous catalogue – and allows customers to compare items and create shopping lists before visiting stores.

The rollout began in Poland, the chain’s largest market with 1,448 stores, and is planned for up to 19 European countries. Pepco Group N.V., registered in the Netherlands and listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, worked with Deloitte Digital and a team of over 80 specialists from Poland, the United Kingdom, Portugal and India on the project. "This transformation gives Pepco significantly stronger foundations for building simple, accurate and consistent customer relationships," said Pablo de Ayala, director of communications for Pepco Group.
