Pepco to Open Store in Ostrow Wielkopolski After Castorama Closure

The former Castorama Smart store in Ostrow Wielkopolski closed on 16 May. Pepco has taken over part of the premises, began recruiting staff for sales and customer‑service roles, and is preparing to open a new discount‑goods store offering clothing, home textiles, toys and seasonal items.

In the nearby town of Kutno, several retail locations have also shut down. The TEDi outlet in the city centre closed on 21 May, while the KAES store and the Delikatesy Centrum shop on Warszawskie Przedmieście have ceased operations as part of Eurocash's nationwide restructuring of under‑performing sites. Future tenants for these spaces have not yet been announced.
