Pepe Chedraui hosts breast cancer awareness forum in Puebla

In observance of World Breast Cancer Day, the municipal government of Puebla, led by Mayor Pepe Chedraui, organized an awareness forum at the Universidad de América Latina. Conducted through the Secretariat of Women, the event focused on promoting prevention, early detection, and integral well-being for local women.

During the forum, participants discussed the importance of medical check-ups and body awareness. The event featured a testimony from an individual named Yeka, who shared her personal experience with breast cancer to provide hope and encourage support networks. Zaira González, head of the Secretariat of Women, emphasized the need to address barriers that prevent women from accessing information and medical care due to domestic and professional responsibilities.
