Pepe joins Portuguese Football Federation Foundation board
Former Portuguese international defender Pepe has joined the Board of Directors of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) Foundation. The appointment positions the former FC Porto and Real Madrid player as a key figure in the Federation’s social responsibility initiatives.
Pepe, who retired in August 2024 following a career that included a Euro 2016 victory with Portugal, expressed pride in the invitation. He stated his intention to promote the values of the FPF and use his connection with fans to support the foundation’s mission.
The foundation's board is led by Pedro Proença and includes several other prominent figures from Portuguese football, such as Nuno Gomes and António Simões.
