In Veracruz, political figure Pepe Yunes appeared at a Movimiento Ciudadano (MC) assembly, sparking speculation regarding a potential broad alliance for the 2030 gubernatorial race. This coalition could potentially unite various parties, including the PRI, PAN, MC, and PT.

During the event, Movimiento Ciudadano founder Dante Delgado criticized the administration of Rocío Nahle, describing her government as authoritarian. Delgado alleged that the state government has used its power to pressure political opponents and questioned the institutional support provided to MC candidates during the 2025 municipal elections.
