Peppino di Capri's first wife disputes singer's will

Roberta Stoppa, the first wife of the late Italian singer Peppino di Capri, has raised concerns regarding the validity of his will. Stoppa described the document as “strange” and “poorly written,” noting that lawyers are currently reviewing it to determine if there were any instances of “coercion or pressure.”

Stoppa, mother of the singer's son Igor, predicted a highly complex legal battle, comparing the potential fallout to the well-known inheritance disputes of the Agnelli family. She described the current family atmosphere as extremely tense.

The dispute also highlights deep-seated friction between the singer's children. Igor, born from Stoppa's marriage to di Capri, reportedly faces strained relations with his half-brothers, Dario and Edoardo, who were born to di Capri's second wife, Giuliana Gagliardi. Stoppa alleged that the other children had previously attempted to limit her and Igor's access to the singer.
