PepsiCo and Chemipack announce major industrial investments in Poland

PepsiCo has invested approximately $10 million in a new, fully automated warehouse at its production plant in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland. The facility utilizes an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) to connect palletization, storage, and shipping zones. This upgrade increases the plant's capacity by about 2,000 pallet positions, bringing the total capacity to roughly 10,000 pallets. The automation is expected to facilitate up to 300 additional direct deliveries per month and optimize logistics by reducing manual handling and intermediate transport.

Separately, Chemipack, a Polish manufacturer of automotive and household chemicals, has begun construction on a new production and logistics complex in Łowicz valued at nearly 78 million PLN. The project, partially funded by European Funds, will cover approximately 12,000 square meters of warehouse, production, and office space. The expansion aims to increase production capacity and implement new technologies, such as in-line fluid mixing processes.
