PepsiCo faces North American snack revenue declines
PepsiCo is currently facing challenges in its North American snack business, which has impacted its stock performance. The company's share price is trading approximately 27% below its all-time high, with a dividend yield of nearly 4%.
Key issues include a 2% decline in revenue for PepsiCo Foods North America during the second quarter of 2026 and pressure on sales volumes. Changing consumer habits, such as a preference for less processed foods and the rise of GLP-1 medications, are also cited as potential headwinds for the snack division.
Despite these domestic struggles, PepsiCo maintains a strong international presence, with international organic revenue increasing by 7% in the second quarter. The company operates in over 200 countries and reported revenues of nearly $94 billion in 2025.
