PepsiCo to raise prices on select snacks and beverages

PepsiCo has confirmed upcoming price increases for several snack and beverage brands, including Doritos, Ruffles, and SunChips. The adjustments, expected to reach shelves by late 2026 or early 2027, will involve low- to mid-single-digit percentage hikes.

The company cited rising commodity, packaging, and transportation costs as the primary drivers for the change. This move follows a previous decision in early 2026 to cut prices on certain large snack bags by up to 15 percent to attract inflation-sensitive consumers.

While prices are rising compared to recent discounts, PepsiCo noted that the new rates are expected to remain below the peak prices seen prior to the 2026 discounts. Early signs of price adjustments have already been observed at discount retailers, such as increases in Tostitos salsa and Fritos canned dips.
