Ópera UNCuyo to host lecture on Giuseppe Verdi

Ópera UNCuyo will host a lecture titled ‘Verdi, the quintessence of the 19th century’ on Tuesday, October 6, at the Sala Roja of the Nave UNCuyo in Mendoza. The event aims to explore the work of Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi through musical illustrations, including arias and fragments from his most famous operas such as La Traviata, Rigoletto, and Nabucco.

The presentation will feature dynamic background images and subtitles to assist in understanding the dramatic content of the musical pieces. This initiative precedes the 2026 commemoration of the 125th anniversary of Verdi’s death.
