Peraton wins $117M U.S. Army cyber defense contract

Peraton has secured a $117 million recompete contract to provide cybersecurity and network operations for the U.S. Army Regional Cyber Center – Europe (RCC-E). The contract, which runs through 2031, extends a partnership between the company and the Army that has lasted nearly two decades.

Headquartered at Clay Kaserne in Wiesbaden, Germany, the RCC-E serves as the primary cyber defense hub for U.S. military operations across Europe and Africa. Peraton will provide 24/7/365 services, including network security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, forensics, malware analysis, penetration testing, and enterprise infrastructure management.

Tom Afferton, President of Cyber and Intelligence at Peraton, described the mission as a “national security imperative” due to the increasing frequency and sophistication of large-scale cyberattacks. This award follows other significant Army cyber contracts for Peraton, including a $196 million agreement for the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command’s Global Cyber Center and an $889 million contract supporting Army Cyber Command.
