Peravia Strategic Council delivers 30-year development plan in Baní
The Peravia Strategic Council for Sustainable Development has officially delivered the Peravia Sustainable Development Plan 2025-2055 in Baní. This 30-year planning instrument outlines the primary needs, initiatives, and projects intended to drive the province's growth through the next three decades.
Priority projects identified for the municipality of Baní include the rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer system, the expansion of several educational facilities, and the enlargement of the Cañafistol aqueduct. These interventions aim to address critical infrastructure and service requirements for the local population.
The presentation was attended by various authorities and community representatives. Key figures included Juan Carlos Guzmán, president of the Strategic Council; Senator Julito Fulcar, a promoter of the initiative; and Governor Ángela Yadira Báez. Baní Mayor Santo Ramírez hosted the event, describing the plan as a vital roadmap for municipal growth and priority setting.
