Perceptual Robotics raises £4 million to boost AI‑driven wind turbine inspections
Bristol‑based Perceptual Robotics announced it has secured over £4 million in new funding to expand its artificial‑intelligence platform for wind‑turbine inspection and maintenance. The capital will be used to grow the company’s international presence, strengthen offshore capabilities and develop additional tools aimed at improving the efficiency and reliability of renewable‑energy infrastructure.
Other highlights from the South West tech roundup include the launch of the South West Connector, a digital hub backed by the Met Office and Microsoft that links tech‑career resources with employers; cybersecurity firm Tempo Audits reporting it hit its six‑year growth target in two years, reaching £2 million in annual revenue and 300 clients; and international law practice Osborne Clarke posting record £271 million revenue while investing in AI and global expansion. techSPARK also announced a regional tour of co‑working spaces across Bristol throughout August.
