Perelhal celebrates Nossa Senhora do Alívio festival

The Perelhal community is celebrating the Festa da Nossa Senhora do Alívio this weekend. While the religious components remain the central focus of the event, the festivities include a diverse musical lineup featuring artists such as Toy, Victor Rodrigues, and Xavier.

The program includes a candle procession on Friday night, followed by performances from Nuno Matos and various DJs. Saturday features local traditions, a children's festival, and concerts by Quim dos Apitos and Victor Rodrigues. The religious peak occurs on Sunday with a solemn mass and a procession from the church to the chapel, accompanied by the Fanfarra do Agrupamento de Escudeiros. The celebrations will conclude with the Mass of São Miguel on September 29.
