Perfect Corp. launches AI MV to generate music videos via AI

Perfect Corp. has announced the launch of AI MV, a new feature within its YouCam Video application designed to generate complete music videos from a single song and a text prompt. The technology aims to significantly reduce the time and cost traditionally associated with music video production.

Users can create videos in three steps: importing or generating a song, providing a text description of the desired visual universe, and selecting one of three production styles. These styles include ‘Storytelling’, which uses cinematic sequences to match lyrics; ‘Singing’, which focuses on lip-synced performances; and ‘Hybrid’, which combines both narrative and performance elements.

To further personalize the content, the tool allows users to upload their own photos to act as a virtual artist or use character images to establish a unique visual identity.
