Perfect One Focus renews Smooth Cleansing Balm Deep Black

Shin Nihon Seiyaku Co., Ltd. has announced the renewal of its popular skincare product, the Smooth Cleansing Balm Deep Black, under the Perfect One Focus brand. The product, which has surpassed 6.5 million cumulative units sold, is designed to target pore concerns, specifically stubborn blackheads and keratin plugs.

The updated formula utilizes “keratin plug decomposition technology,” combining a new blackhead clear ingredient with four types of enzymes to dissolve hardened plugs. This is paired with protein-adsorbing charcoal to remove impurities. To support skin health after cleansing, the balm includes proprietary collagen, five types of vitamins, and azelaic acid to tighten and moisturize the skin.

The balm features a texture that transforms into a liquid oil upon contact with body temperature to minimize friction. It functions as a multi-purpose product for makeup removal, facial cleansing, pore care, exfoliation, moisturizing, and massage, eliminating the need for double cleansing.

A pre-release sale will begin on August 31, 2026, via Qoo10, followed by a nationwide launch in Japan on October 1, 2026. The product will retail for 2,970 yen (including tax) for a 75g container.
