Perfecta Armonía launches sustainable cosmetics in Santa Bárbara

Ana Karina Aguilera, an early childhood educator, has developed a sustainable cosmetics business called Perfecta Armonía in Santa Bárbara, Chile. What began as a personal search for natural skin care products for her family has evolved into a professional enterprise that combines natural cosmetics with waste reuse.

The business produces a variety of items, including solid shampoos, conditioners, saponified soaps, floral waters, lipsticks, serums, and natural deodorants. Notably, the venture includes the development of solid dish soap created from used frying oil collected from local neighbors.

Aguilera has professionalized the initiative by establishing a low-risk laboratory that holds a Sanitary Resolution, a unique distinction for such facilities in Santa Bárbara. This certification allows the business to expand into new commercial channels and reach broader markets.
