Perfeta Productions to Acquire 87.5% of Minella Stadium Concession in Mar del Plata

The municipal government of Mar del Plata approved a resolution authorising the concessionaire Minella Stadium, which operates the José María Minella stadium and related sports facilities, to transfer 87.5% of its shares to the firm Perfeta Productions. The resolution, signed by municipal legal and finance secretary Mauro Martinelli, creates an ad‑hoc commission comprising representatives of the Ente Municipal de Deportes (EMDER), the General Accounting Office and the General Directorate of Procurement to evaluate the proposal. The commission must verify that the transaction complies with the concession’s terms, including the requirement for a prior written municipal authorization. The move follows concerns about the financial capacity of the previous majority partner, the Brazilian company Revee, and aims to bring in a partner with stronger economic resources. Entrepreneur Marcelo Fígoli has been identified as a new stakeholder in Minella Stadium, prompting the municipality to seek a comprehensive technical, legal and accounting assessment before finalising the share transfer.
