Perfetti Van Melle celebrates 80 years in Lainate

Perfetti Van Melle is celebrating the 80th anniversary of its foundation in Lainate, marking the origins of the company which began as Dolcificio Lombardo in 1946. To honor the company's history, the city of Lainate has inaugurated 'Largo Ambrogio ed Egidio Perfetti,' a public space named after the brothers who founded the business.

The celebrations also coincide with the 70th anniversary of the Brooklyn chewing gum brand, which was launched in 1956. An installation dedicated to Brooklyn was unveiled near the company's facility. As part of the anniversary events, the company has scheduled an open day for employees, their families, and the local community on September 12 and 13.
