Performing arts festivals held in Aix-en-Provence and La Seyne

Various performing arts festivals are taking place across the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in France, concluding on September 27, 2026.

In Aix-en-Provence, the Centre International des Arts en Mouvement (CIAM) is hosting the 14th edition of the ‘Jours [et nuits] de cirque(s)’ festival. This year’s program focuses on the theme of transmission, exploring connections between generations and territories through circus arts. The event follows a preliminary heritage weekend where circus performances were held at historical sites such as the Abbaye de Silvacane.

Simultaneously, the ‘Regards sur rue’ festival is being held in La Seyne. The event features approximately 50 free performances involving 17 companies and 68 artists. The programming includes diverse acts ranging from immersive circus numbers to irreverent theatrical reinterpretations of medieval tragedies.
