Perg: Firefighters contain field and forest fire in Tobra

A field and forest fire in the Tobra district of Perg was brought under control following a rapid response by local fire departments on a Wednesday afternoon. The fire, which started around 2:30 PM for unknown reasons, spread quickly through dry vegetation and destroyed a hunting stand.

Approximately 60 emergency responders from seven different fire departments participated in the operation. To ensure a steady water supply, an 800-meter supply line was laid from the Naarn river. Local farmers and a nearby company provided critical support by using trucks and vacuum tankers to transport water. Drones were also utilized to identify and extinguish hidden hotspots from the air.
