Perlis hosts Five Nation Stamp Exhibition to boost regional ties

The Five Nation Stamp Exhibition Perlis Malaysia 2026 is being held at Dewan 2020 in Kangar from September 25 to 27. The event aims to strengthen regional philatelic cooperation and cultural ties through the sharing of history and heritage.

Organized by the Perlis State Secretary Corporation (PSSI), Perlis Tourism, and the Malaysian Philatelic Association (PSM) in collaboration with Pos Malaysia, the exhibition features more than 325 stamp frames. It includes 98 collections competing across 29 categories, such as traditional philately, postal history, aerophilately, and thematic philately.

The event brings together over 60 international delegates from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam, with Bangladesh participating as a guest nation. In addition to the displays, educational activities like ‘Philately Talk’ and ‘Heritage Talk’ are provided to teach students about stamp preservation and competition preparation.
