Pernambuco and Goiás Win ABET‑TIC Gold Seals for Digital Public Services at SECOP 2026

The governments of Pernambuco and Goiás were each awarded the Gold Seal of the Índice de Oferta de Serviços Públicos Digitais (IOSPD) by the Associação Brasileira de Entidades Estaduais e Públicas de Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação (ABET‑TIC). The recognitions were presented during the 53rd National Seminar of ICT for Public Management (SECOP 2026) in Brasília, marking the highest performance tier (90‑100% score) for digital public‑service maturity.

Pernambuco’s Secretary of Administration, Ana Maraíza, highlighted the role of the state’s Digital Transformation Office and the Agência de Tecnologia da Informação in modernising services. Fred Vasconcelos, president of ATI‑PE, added that the state will continue expanding digital offerings and strengthening information security. Goiás received its Gold Seal alongside the launch of an AI‑powered WhatsApp channel that assists citizens with services such as driver‑license renewal and identity‑card issuance, further improving user experience and system integration.
