Pernambuco Meu País Festival arrives in Buíque
The Pernambuco Meu País Festival has arrived in Buíque, Agreste, offering a free program of music, cinema, circus, and popular culture. The event is expected to attract approximately 70,000 people and generate R$ 5 million for the local economy, benefiting tourism and commerce.
Main performances are scheduled at the Pátio de Eventos São Sebastião, featuring artists such as Assum Preto, Mari & Rayane, and Hungria. Additionally, the Caravana Pernambuco Meu País is bringing decentralized programming to the Vale do Catimbau and Vila do Carneiro, providing access to culture in more remote areas.
Separately, the 16th Curitiba Biennial is underway at the Museu Oscar Niemeyer and various venues across Curitiba. Themed ‘Limiares’ (Thresholds), the exhibition features more than 300 artists from 38 countries, exploring the boundaries between the human, technological, natural, and digital worlds. The event runs until November 15, 2026.
