Pernambuco Penal Police recruitment details released

The recruitment process for the Pernambuco Penal Police has entered a new phase with the release of the terms of reference. Organized by Cebraspe, the selection process aims to fill 700 vacancies for the position of Penal Police officer.

The selection includes several stages: an objective exam, a discursive exam, a physical fitness test (TAF), medical examinations, psychological evaluation, and social investigation. The objective exam will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions, divided into 20 general knowledge and 40 specific knowledge questions. This marks a departure from some Cebraspe models that use true/false formats.

The discursive exam is expected to involve up to 4,200 corrections. The physical fitness test will comprise four exercises: pull-ups, horizontal jump, sit-ups, and a 12-minute run. Candidates must hold a higher education degree in any field and a valid driver's license (category B or higher). Initial salaries are reported to be around R$ 5,000.
