Peronist leaders mobilize for future elections in Santa Cruz and San Luis

Peronist leaders in Argentina are organizing for future elections, focusing on reconstruction and unity within the Justicialist Party (PJ) in Santa Cruz and San Luis.

In Santa Cruz, former governor Daniel Peralta spoke at a PJ leadership renewal event, calling for Peronist unity to reclaim the provincial government in 2027. He criticized the current administration of Claudio Vidal and the national policies of Javier Milei. His remarks drew sharp criticism from Sebastián Santillán and Miguel Farías, who accused the current leadership of historical contradictions and questioned why those who held power for decades are now presenting themselves as agents of renewal.

In San Luis, former governor Alberto Rodríguez Saá led a large gathering of PJ militants. During the event, supporters called for his return as governor in 2027. Rodríguez Saá criticized the current provincial management under Claudio Poggi, specifically regarding economic policies and wages, promising that a Peronist return would restore social justice.
