Peronist supporters gather at Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s home in Buenos Aires

Hundreds of Peronist militants from the districts of San Martín, Tres de Febrero and Ituzaingó converged on Saturday at the intersection of San José 1111 in the Constitución neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. They assembled in front of the house where former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is serving a term of house arrest, marking the resumption of sectoral pilgrimages that had been suspended for months due to force‑majeure reasons.

The rally featured cultural and political activities organized by local groups, including the Ateneo Néstor Kirchner in San Martín and a column led by Juan Debandi, head of the Partido Justicialista in Tres de Febrero. Participants carried signs demanding her freedom and voiced speculation that she could run as a candidate in the upcoming elections. In parallel, militants spread campaign posters and painted walls across Greater Buenos Aires to promote her potential candidacy.
