Přerov Highway Management Center modernizes Czech motorway oversight

The Highway Management and Maintenance Center in Přerov, Czech Republic, has become one of the most modern facilities in the country following the completion of the D1 motorway section between Přerov and Lipník. The center manages the D1 stretch from Kroměříž to Lipník and maintains the D55 motorway.

Dispatchers monitor traffic flow and collisions via cameras, often being the first to contact emergency services. The facility also includes a salt warehouse containing 1,700 tons of brine solution used for winter road maintenance, which is replenished during the summer months.
