Perplexity rolls out Personal Computer AI assistant for Windows PCs
Perplexity announced the expansion of its Personal Computer AI assistant from macOS to Windows, allowing the agent to run directly inside the Windows operating system. The tool can read and edit local files, interact with Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and browse the web, acting as a general‑purpose digital worker for enterprise users.
The service is offered to Max and Enterprise Max subscription tiers starting at €184 per month. It integrates with Teams and supports more than 400 third‑party connectors—including Snowflake, Salesforce and HubSpot—to pull data into documents and automate workflows. Perplexity says the assistant bases its outputs on cited sources to improve reliability.
