PERPRINDO launches first competency tests for refrigeration technicians

The Indonesian Refrigeration and Cooling Companies Association (PERPRINDO), through its Professional Certification Body (LSP) for Cooling Technology, has commenced its first competency testing for air conditioning and refrigeration technicians in Jakarta.

This initiative aims to standardize workforce competence to meet growing industrial demands across various sectors, including residential use, commercial buildings, food logistics chains, and data centers. PERPRINDO Chairman Budi Mulia stated that the testing is a concrete step to support government efforts in accelerating and expanding professional standardization within the industry in Indonesia.

The LSP Teknik Pendingin PERPRINDO offers five specific certification schemes: Residential AC Maintenance Technician, Residential AC Technician, Commercial Air Conditioning and VRF System Technician, Domestic Refrigeration Technician, and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Technician (F-gas refrigerants).
