Perry Edwards arrested in 2015 Bulloch County homicide

Perry Edwards has been arrested and indicted in connection with the 2015 homicide of Betty Jean King in Brooklet, Georgia. The victim was discovered by a family member on June 6, 2015, inside her residence on George Road in Bulloch County, having sustained multiple blunt force injuries.

Following a period where the case went cold, investigators and crime scene technicians conducted a persistent review of witness statements and physical evidence. This review allowed investigators to establish probable cause against Edwards.

Edwards was indicted by a Bulloch County Grand Jury on September 20 and booked into the Bulloch County Jail on October 29. He faces charges of malice murder, three counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and false imprisonment.
