Persebaya Surabaya Claims First Piala Presiden Crown via Penalties
Persebaya Surabaya won its first Piala Presiden title by defeating Persib Bandung 6‑5 in a penalty shoot‑out after the final ended 1‑1 after extra time. The match was played at Stadion Kapten I Wayan Dipta in Gianyar, Bali on 6 August 2026. Ramadhan Sananta gave Persebaya the opening goal, while Patricio Matricardi equalised for Persib.
