Persepolis defeats Zob Ahan 2-0 amid refereeing analysis

Refereeing expert Nozhar Rodnil provided an analysis of the officiating during the match between Persepolis and Zob Ahan in the sixth week of the Persian Gulf Pro League. Persepolis secured a 2-0 victory with goals from Ali Alipour in the 42nd minute and Pouria Shahrabadi in the 64th minute.

Regarding controversial moments, Rodnil stated that the 42nd-minute goal by Alipour was legal and did not require VAR intervention. He also addressed a potential penalty claim in the 4th minute, concluding that no foul occurred. Additionally, he noted that a handball suspicion involving Mehdi Zare in the 11th minute was not a penalty, and a missed foul by a Zob Ahan player in the 2nd minute was an error by the officiating crew. In the second half, Rodnil suggested that Majid Eidi of Persepolis deserved a yellow card in the 58th minute.
