Persepolis FC integrates new winger Mohebi amid league push

Persepolis FC has found a successor to Mehdi Torabi in Mohammad Mehdi Mohebi. The 26-year-old winger, formerly of Sepahan, has become a key figure for the team following his transfer, scoring the team's first goal of the 26th league season against Shams Azar Qazvin.

Ahead of an upcoming critical match against Zob Ahan, Persepolis head coach Mehdi Tartar emphasized the need to recover points lost in the recent Tehran derby. Tartar noted the importance of facing a capable Zob Ahan side and addressed various club matters, including the necessity of holding the Hazfi Cup despite potential scheduling challenges. He also commented on the need for thorough investigations by disciplinary and refereeing committees regarding recent controversial matches to ensure football integrity.
