Persib Bandung extends contracts of three foreign imports until 2028
Persib Bandung announced that it has renewed the contracts of three foreign players—defender Patricio Matricardi (Argentina) and attackers Uilliam Barros Pereira and Ramon Tanque (both Brazil)—with two‑year deals running through 2028. Deputy CEO Adhitia Putra Herawan said the extensions are meant to ensure squad depth for the upcoming season, in which the club will compete in at least four competitions, and highlighted the players’ professionalism, technical quality and commitment.
The trio helped Persib win the 2025/26 BRI Super League title and featured prominently in the AFC Champions League Two, with Matricardi recording 31 league appearances and two goals, Barros 32 appearances with eight goals, and Tanque 28 appearances with eight goals, plus additional matches in the Asian tournament.
